The Ball and Roller Bearing are fitted with grease which is normally a sufficient lubrication for one year. If a motor is running for more than Eight hours per day the lubrication may be checked earlier.

All motors are tested to run at 400/440 volts. Their efficiency may drop if they are allowed to work at lower then 380 or higher then 450 volts for a considerable period of time.

Every motor is tested on full load and is capable of running 25% overload for a period of 15 minutes. If however a motor is run overload beyond this period the motor may get damaged.

Use of Automatic Starter with no volts and overload relay, is necessary. If Automatic Starter is not used and one phase is blown out, motor will burn out.

When fixing the motor, it is essential to see that alignment with the driven machine or coupling is correct.
